Tigers Trounced 51-7 at Eden Prairie

Farmington football traveled to perennial power, Eden Prairie, on Friday night and found themselves on the losing end of a 51-7 game.

The Tigers put together just 134 yards of offense over four quarters in the loss at EP.

Junior running back Jeffrey Branson carried the ball 14 times for 56 yards while Isaiah Bramer, who replaced Sophomore quarterback Jonah Ask, completed 7 of 14 passes for 48 yards.

Eden Prairie built a 13-0 lead after the first quarter and tacked on another 19 points in the second quarter to build a 32-0 halftime lead. A number of first half Tiger turnovers put the Eagles in scoring position multiple times.

Farmington wouldn't score until 2:10 remained in the fourth quarter. Branson scored on a 9-yard rush.

Defensively, Jonathan Shrum led the Tigers with 10 total tackles. Braden Champlin, Zach Dahl, and Vince VonBank all recorded 9 tackles.

The 1-1 Tigers will travel to 1-1 Shakopee next Friday, September 16. The Sabers are coming off a 16-24 loss to Prior Lake.
