Lakeville, Minn. - Farmington's Boys Golf team traveled to Heritage Links Golf Club in Lakeville, MN to compete in the first South Suburban Conference match of the 2023 season.
As a team, the Tigers shot a score of 314 and earned a 2nd place finish overall. Eastview edged the Tigers with a team score of 307.
Farmington ace, Senior Kyler Schwamb, shot 72 on the afternoon. His score was the best of the day earning him a 1st place individual finish. His scorecard included birdies on holes five and eight. Schwamb sunk par on nearly every ther hole in his +1 finish.
Senior Zach Rouleau finished +4 on the round earning a birdie on hole thirteen. His round of 75 was played consistently throughout the day and earned a 3rd place individual finish.
Sophomore Cale Thompson (81) finished in third for the Tigers and 12th overall. Colin Lehmeyer (86) placed 4th on the team, Logan Henriksen (89) placed 5th, and Zach Bell (91) placed 6th.
