Lake City, Minn. - The Farmington Tigers boys golf team has qualified two golfers for the 2023 MSHSL Class AAA State Tournament.
The Tigers finished the tournament in 4th place as a team.
Senior Kyler Schwamb qualified for the State Tournament with a first place finish overall. Schwamb shot a 70 on day 1 and a 74 on day 2.
Senior Zach Rouleau had to work a little harder to secure his spot in the State Tournament. Rouleau finished his round tied for 5th place and needed a playoff to secure his spot.
With three players vying for two spots, Rouleau secured advancement on the third hole of the playoff.
