Rochester, Minn. -- The Tigers had their best offensive performance of the season but fell to Rochester Mayo, 46-27.
It was the tale of two quarters for Farmington in Rochester on Friday. The Tigers quickly found themselves trailing 22-0 heading into the second quarter without having achieved a first down on offense. Then something clicked.
Jonah Ask began to light up the Spartan secondary, throwing for over 150 yards and three touchdowns to three different receivers.
Brock Wyandt started things with a 45-yard haul down the sideline. Then Ask rolled to his left and fired across to
Cody Rezny for a 20-yard touchdown strike on a critical 4 th down just outside the redzone. Lastly, Ask brought his team back within a score by finding
Cole Wilcek at the back pylon for nine yards to conclude the scoring in the first half, 29-22.
The Tigers unfortunately could only muster one more score in the second half as Ask threw for his fourth touchdown pass of the night, a 10-yard strike to Wilcek who caught his second touchdown of the evening.
