Farmington Tigers Take 4th at 1AA True Team Sections Meet

LAKEVILLE, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers boys' swim and dive team competed in the 1AA True Team Sections meet on Saturday, January 11, 2025. The Tigers showcased their depth and determination, delivering strong performances in both individual events and relays place 4th in the section.

The Tigers started the meet with an electrifying first-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay, with the team of Hantruy Nguyen, Collin Hawkins, Adam Moorlach, and Tyler West clocking in at 1:45.64?
In the 200-yard freestyle, Justin Raymond led the way with a first-place finish at 1:53.52, followed by Eli Gobar in third place at 2:03.35?
Collin Hawkins and Daniel Budde delivered solid swims in the 200-yard individual medley (IM), finishing third (2:16.76) and fourth (2:17.11), respectively?
Sprinter Adam Moorlach dominated the 50-yard freestyle, earning first place with a time of 22.56, and Tyler West added a strong second-place finish at 23.34?
In the 100-yard butterfly, Daniel Budde secured second place (1:00.88), with teammates contributing valuable points in the event?
The 500-yard freestyle was a highlight for the Tigers, with Hantruy Nguyen taking first place (5:00.71) and Adam Moorlach earning second place (5:04.59)?
Farmington's 200-yard freestyle relay team of Nguyen, West, Hawkins, and Raymond claimed another first-place finish, clocking in at 1:34.60?
In the 100-yard backstroke, Hantruy Nguyen delivered a stellar performance to earn first place (59.59), while Tyler West finished fourth (1:05.55)?
The meet concluded with a thrilling 400-yard freestyle relay, where the team of Moorlach, Budde, Montgomery, and Raymond placed second with a time of 3:25.28, capping off a successful meet for the Tigers?.
