Hall of Fame
Bob played three sports while attending Farmington High School: football, basketball and track and field (throwing the shot put) as a freshman, sophomore and junior.Â
A season ending injury in the first football game of his senior year sidelined him for the rest of the football season and some of the basketball season but Bob was always cheering his teammates on.
After graduation, Bob played football for Mankato State, Dana College in Nebraska and then returned home where he served as a Lakeville township police officer before deciding to work on the family hog farm.Â
The farm house he grew up in still exists on the site of the family farm off of Pilot Knob Rd.
